FAC AWARDS:

From time to time we see people who are real heroes in the fight for your rights - people who understand the issues and speak up when the time is now. Feminists Against Censorship would like to give recognition to people we admire and to whom we are grateful for their efforts to defend our freedom to communicate with each other, and so we have come up with a way to express our gratitude and at the same time tell others about their work: The FAC Award.

Right now one of our supporters is in the process of designing a graphic to go with the award, and we hope to be able to make it linkable to the recipient's websites (if they have them). When that's ready, you'll be hearing about the people we think deserve to be recognized as heroes of freedom.

We have our own ideas about who to give this award to, but we welcome your nominations. Who do you think deserves special recognition for their work in defense of free speech and privacy? Let us know!
