LANGFORD, Dave (David Rowland) (1953- )

UK fan, active to some extent since 1973 in Oxford (Brasenose College) and Newport, Gwent (home town); based in Reading from 1976 and married to Hazel Langford since June that year. Active in fanzines and occasionally conventions (as speaker and worker on publications). Winner Nova Award for Best Fanzine (TWLL-DDU) 1977 and Best Fanwriter 1990; Hugo Award for best Fanwriter 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1991-96 inclusive; Hugo for Best Fanzine (ANSIBLE) 1987, 1995 and 1996; Eastercon Award, short text category (ANSIBLE) 1993.
