LINDSAY, Ethel (1921-1996)

UK fanwriter/editor, active since 1954, when she joined Glasgow fan group the Newlands SF Fan Club in 1952 after learning of it via the Walt Willis column in the first issue of the prozine NEBULA. Lived in Surrey 1955-1978. Member of London Circle (1955-59) and Science Fiction Club of London (1959-68), hosting the latter at her Surrey flat, 'Courage House'. TAFF-winner 1962.
