First Contact: Joined the Stockholm Tolkien Society in 1981 after
having heard of it from a friend. It wasn't very much a

been founded by three Swedish BNFs (Sam Lundwall, Jörgen
Peterzén and Anders Palm), so the "real" first contact
was through the fan column in the Swedish prozine
               Jules Verne Magazinet in 1983.
